There are some GOOD Basement Apartment with "Walk Outs" and car parking. You will have to contact them and find out if they will provide you with a six month rental. They will normally take Two Month up front (Rent) and they will ask you to provide a notice prior to departure. Make sure how many months they will need, so that you can give them the required notice.

You can take any apartment anywhere close by. Such as what you are asking here. (Square One) If you get a cheaper apartment take it and use the difference to get a Bus pass to move anywhere. You have to juggle the rent money and the bus pass expense to see if it is worthwhile.

Some will give you Laundry, Phone, Internet and Telephone also. (Included in the rent.)
