first and last month rent. no credit history was asked.

Are there any apartment building that you are sure US cell phones work ? Does T mobile work anywhere ?

Also this may be a stupid question - Is there an obvious way of finding out if you are connected to the US network (without roaming) v/s Canadian network ?

That WAS a stupid question.. Of course there is.. it shows up on your cell.. Rogers is canadian v/s cingular or T-Mobile will be us n/w

T-Mobile coverage blows in north/north-east.. I know lot of texans have it coz they kinda started in Southwest.. I know most of the riverfront buildings have coverage for Cingular and Verizon.. Dunno abt T-Mobile..
