European countries are way more advanced with their technologies. We can only dream of something like this here.

This is nothing new. New York had similar parking places for the last couple of years

Necessity is the mother of invention.

Most European cities are congested, with cramped parking spaces unlike cities in US and Canada which are built with wide highways and large parking spaces. Land is cheap in North America

Its is not Europeans are advanced, but they needed this technology earlier than cities in North America. Our cities are getting there soon.
