total cost of CWG six billions
majority of it ie 60% went in to construct metro and airport terminal, so you know lots of return.
Rest of the money for village and upgrading facilities (game/city )
all the apartment build will be sold after CWG, me think again profit.
me think if one does not get bogged down by the initial out cry and who comes and wins, they just common wealth games, it sure s a deal.
Common guys dont you think india bought front row seats ( less expensive CWG than compared to chinas very expensive olympics) but got balcony wala maja (also look at the Roi above) aur kutto ka kam he bhokna those journalist

I understand the food at the CWG village is to die for. Let's hope the goras , kalas and peelas enjoy their stay once the mess is cleaned up and leave happy.
Heads must roll immediately after the games so this chalta hai attitude of those in charge becomes an example for others. I like how China executes corrupt officals. The PM must ensure those corrupt are brought to book.
The whole fiasco is a national shame, remember we had a good chance to make a first imppression but we screwed up. Going forward we as a nation might only be given a chance to host the kabaddi world cup.....
Last time in 2006 the cost was $1.1b. This time it is $8.6b and counting. In four years it has increased so much?
Hope the mess is cleaned before the games and lets get it over with. Once the games are over no one in the govt will talk abt CWG corruption etc. Lucky are the one who made money.
