I think percentage of indians earning $80000/year are very less. So I can't believe this. Ground realities are different. Lot of people are giving up before reaching that target and going back to economically booming India.
For me, it is very important the type of job you are doing to earn money rather than doing some irrelevant jobs not in your field.
So far I didn't find a job, where I jumped from the bed in the morning like a kid to go to work.

Agree with you. I didnt understand what this guy studied about Indo canadian income pattern.
It is almost irrelevent to study the comparision of Indian degree with Canadian Income because the relation between both of them is almost nil.

FYI, an engineer with the fed govt with 5-10 yrs of exp is earning nearly $80k (including the yearly bonus they get that may not be permanent, but its been there for number of yrs)
