I need some help from home owners on this forum. we are moving to cambridge ontario and we are renting a town house there(Yet to rent). Will be paying close to 1350 on rent and would like to know how much would be the utilities? Any help would be appreciated.

The amount will depend on how well the home is insulated, how big it is, how open it is and how you use using the thermostat. However, mine ranges as below:
Heating bills from $100 to $200 (gas for heating the home)
Non-winter days - heating bills (mostly, water heater gas, dryer gas, etc) - $30 to $60
Electricity from $60 to $140 (peak AC season)
Water - $40 to $70

I know. At least the utility bills show some trend - going up during winter/summer and vice versa. Stock market...hmm that's another story
