all Indian awards are junk with popularity/money winning over true talent.

And non professional dancers (read bollywood actors) dancing on stage.

I could care less if Amitabh Bachchan is taken out and x is put in his place.

Agree. Look at the filmfare nominations

"My Name is Khan" and "Dabang" are all over the places, while "Ishqiya" and "Peepli Live" do not get nominated for best direction. "Peepli Live" does not get nominated for best music.

Filmfare awards are a farce, but it still hurts to see PR trumping talent

I don’t have problems with muslims, But Khans are taking over bollywood and Hindu artists have hard time to get success. (Vivek Oberoy for example)
Regardless of whatever… I am not going for IIFA, I am not even going to spend a dollar for DVD to watch at home… hehehhh

Vivek Oberoi, hahaha. Are you kidding me? He's a complete joker. Any artiste who is not successful is either doing something wrong, does not know how to act, promote themselves, or simply unlucky, regardless of their caste/creed.

IIFA or whatever, they were a sham show for me even during AB's tenure. He is making fool of himself these days rather than retiring gracefully. Who cares!

But really, do you care about an artist's religion when you go to see the movie? May be RSS-Bajrant Dal-Shiv Sena should make a point to force people to watch Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachhan movies and stop watching the Khan movies.

People would watch Vivek Oberoi movies if he appeared in good movies.
