Hi All
Thanks a ton for answering the queries that I have been posting on this beautiful forum. I have 2 more.
a. How can I get a health insurance coverage the moment I land in Toronto?
b. Are there are people who would be interested in providing PG accom which includes place to live and food?
Please reply to me with the details and if possible with the contact numbers and emails so that we can talk about it and take it further.
I am arriving in the second week of July.
Bless All

Most provinces require you to apply for provincial health coverage, and to wait 90 days before you are eligible for coverage. In the meantime, you can obtain emergency health insurance coverage by buying visitors to canada insurance. Use this link to compare all Canada's top companies at one time:

Visitors to Canada insurance doesn't cover everything, but it will allow you to be covered against unexpected emergencies before your provincial health coverage kicks in.

This is travel insurance. You cannot be eligible for Travel Insurance when you are a Permanent Resident of the country. I am not sure if this is useable.
I bought visitor insurance for my daughters when I came first time on PR. It is allowed and recommended by many.
