“You will not destroy us,” the grim prime minister said. “You will not destroy our democracy, or our commitment to a better world. “We are a small country nation, but a proud nation. No one shall bomb us to silence, no one shall shoot us to silence, no one shall scare us out ....
These are the words of Norwegian PM. Wish Indian PM had guts to say something like this

I would have appreciated a link to this news.
i am also not sure what just saying these words mean ? anyway on other hand when rahul gandhi said that such attacks wud continue to happen, he was also criticised but it seems like in india they can not prevent these attacks and will happen again ...? so saying either way ....what diff it makes ?
I have full sympathies with the Norway victims
but I have major issues with how the world media and including the canadian media is reporting these events.
the media is calling these attacks the worst terrorist disaster in several years.
The CBC labeled this the worst attacks since 9/11
this has also been called Europe's 9/11.
the issue I have is that no one is considering and appreciating what India is suffering on a daily basis.
every month there are bomb blasts in some or the other city.
Bombay is the worst affected.
how can this Norway attack be worse than 11/26 shootings in Bombay?
how can this be worse than the Bombay bomb blasts?
worse than the attack on Indian parliament?
it is almost as if the bloodshed of Indians is of no value.
the blood of Indians is worth less than white European blood, is that it?
these attacks were planned an carried out by a lone wolf.
he is not an islamic fundamentalist, doesn't have millions of $$ at his disposal does not have w worldwide network of supporters.
he is just one looney bin.
on the other hand India is being systematically subject to state sponsored terrorism.
an organized machinery comprising of propaganda, political influence, international lobbying, organized crime syndicate involvement and rounded off with full backing of the worst islamic fundamentalist organizations such as Al Queda, Lashkar, Siffy etc.
what happened in Norway pales in comparison with that is happening in India since the last 20 years of Pakistan sponsored terrorism.
why does the world not appreciate that?
why is that not reported every day?
why are those images and reports not flashed across western media 24x7?
how is Indian human life worth any less than Norweigein?

In Saudi Arabia, one would often hear this.
" This is Saudi Arabia, you like it or leave it".
You are part of a Democratic country, you have your representative sitting in parliament hill / parliament, to whom you could protest to urge the Government to sever all ties with Saudi Arabia, why not do that......
I had an opportunity to work there, I didn't like the environment and left at the first chance, that what something I was able to do. I didn't have the interest to nag about the country if I do not have anything to do.
Why one should go to a country when you don't like it..
Well let us hope, no one get to Missississauga or Brampton toting a Gun after having frustrated about the Canadian Immigration policy. I know the Australia stuff scared the hell out of us.
Most often, an immigrant herself / himself doesn't like anyone else to immigrate where he had immigrated.
