Recently one of my family relative finished assigned job to do duty for Census 2011 and after finished her duty she found the following points where our tax money is going in drain.

she finished her duty in Mississauga area near Square one, Dundas/hwy10, paisley area when she told us the real story than i was shocked and disappointed b'cos of garbage Canadian Govt policy.

Square one area (Begumpura): 75 to 85% in condo living people majority are Pakistani, afghani, middle east. where most of husbands are working in ME or some where else and kids and family living in extravagance life here. They come here on visitor visa to see family and produced kids like a factory.

when asked the following questions as per Census questionnaire the almost 90% found the following answers:

first question how many people in house? answers are most common me (Lady) and 4 or 5 kids.(vary in kids)

Age of kids # 5 yrs, 4yrs, 3yrs, 1 yrs, etc....

second questions # are you married ? answer no # I am single.

third question # have ever been married? still answer NO and adviced her put as a Single mother.

this kind of people they are just using govt. facilities, CCTB, all benefits and we pay them from our taxes. What a B#####T policy by Canadian Govt. They have free admission in YMCA, all Parks, and other facilities where we pay to go in. example if you want to go to Bronte park you have to pay $16/vehicle for them is completely free.......

They are getting CCTB almost $300 to $400 per child (depends on age of child.).

Most important thing found almost 70 person people paid in Cash to bought these Condos which cost almost $300,000 to $350,000.

now they have to take care about only maints. fee of condo and food which easily govt is giving them by CCTB and other benefits as a single mother with 4 kids and NO job.

Most of them have a nice Van or almost new car, inside the house LED TV 55" hi-fi stereo system, hi-fi Sofa set, Dining table, etc...

Moral of story:

Welcome to Canada and pay more and more taxes to keep this kind of families which is burden for Govt and as well as for us.

this is only Mississauga if you imagine how many families in GTA????? and looks like it will never end this kind of activities unless govt. take some serious actions........:cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

Lol. you have accounted only 1 % of abuse.
Here it is very common for canadian gals to get pregnant at the age of 22 or so and they get break up easily too.. so what happens next is....they claim as single mother, even though she is living with second boy friend. and get all benefits you have claim. It is not just immigrant but all of them abuse the system.
One biggest benefit or waste of our tax money you have missed is Dental and drug coverage. People on social serv get 100 % coverage, which we have to pay our fortune to get it fix, even some of us wait till we visit to india to see a dentist. For them it is free of cost.
So for welfare people lets count -- drug, dental, day care, housing, furniture ( yes, they get some amount every 2 years for that) , and living expense from our beloved govt.

How come the Govt. is not aware that the concerned entered into the country as a family, what about the where abouts of the husband.

Even if the husband is working outside, he would need to come back to Canada oneday and what about the money he earned ? how could he bring.. if he brings, he needs to pay tax on it.

How do you think these guys get through this ? I am utmost certain that they aren't really paying the taxes earned in ME, but would end up paying it when they come back.

Or would they leave soon as they get the passport.

Too confusing.... some of us might have an insight how these guys take care this.

Taxpayers money is not allocated properly. There is a mismanagement in the system. CCTB should not be allowed for more than 2 or 3 child. Even government should make university education subsidize instead of giving CCTB to the families.

If you're scamming the system and own a condo with an undeclared husband living in another country earning money and not contributing Canadian taxes then it is possible to be collecting welfare and living very well. If you're actually unemployed and a single mother without a condo and without someone earning undeclared money it is very hard to live well on welfare.

A lot of life time recipients are not very smart, they were raised within this system which is broken and don't actually have skills that could earn them much. A 22 year old welfare mom may be living with another man but that doesn't mean he's paying anything to help with her child. If he isn't working the max he can collect is something like $600 a month - single men on welfare collect very little. Anyway he is probably not much of a prize himself and so she is stuck with another loser and her child, bad with money and cash poor. Public housing costs something, its just adjusted to income (they count welfare or Ontario works as income, so you may be charged like $150 if you recieved $600 a month).

Growing up I had a friend who lived public housing in Thunder Bay. She was a hard working girl with a lousy mother. She got a job at Superstore and eventually was told since she earned too much her household's rent would be adjusted. She was full time in highschool, 16 years old and because she earned $400 a month that she wanted to save for university their rent was adjusted to her entire cheque (because her income was added to her mothers welfare income). She eventually quit the job since she wasn't putting away anything toward school. Her mother stole her credit card to buy cigarettes, and there wasn't much she could do because she didn't want to upset her mother and end up homeless. When she was younger she was in foster care and sexually abused. Anyway knowing this girl gave me real insight into how some people raised in welfare culture never manage to get ahead. Also, her mother encouraged her to have a baby because her mom had a 2 year old and they could "raise them together". Luckily my friend was smart enough to have higher ambitions than being a welfare mom. Still, she works full time in a call centre, she never did get an education and her credit is ruined by her mother.

I want to add dental is not included for all people on welfare. It is included for all their children though.
