Another reason for the sale could be moving to a different / better location ... It makes most sense to sell a running business ... Remember Tandoori Flame ... Brars owned it initially and later they moved on to the other side @ Advanced Blvd.

Another reason could be servers stopped working because of no tips

Brar was always there at Advance Blvd. At Tandoori Flame, they opened second location under Brars name. But I believe not all people like veg food and both locations were close by.
So Brar sold the location to Tandoori Flame with non veg and veg buffet. I believe it is being owned by an Italian selling Indian food

Naah .. there s plenty of work force in the GTA working at minimum wages ... so thats unlikely to be a reason ... if business is good , others will fill in .
But this is possible that a place may have started losing business because of including mandatory tips in the bill ... read the OP

I think the west side must have a limited market for SI food..
I can see the NI restaurants doing quite well..
In most of the SI restaurants(except a couple of), the food is cooked by Gujarati, Punjabi and other North Indian students. Most of the restaurants do not have a taste of real SI food in Mississauga-Brampton.
Most of these SI restaurants doesn't offer weekend buffet. Some has crazy cutoff times like 11:59 morning... On weekends, Its too early for lunch...
