Great networking opportunity for anyone interested in telecom sector - An event for United Way -$25 will get you free drinks, finger food, chance to win amazing devices / game console etc. and network with vendors like Cisco, Samsung, Juniper, others - all proceeds go to United Way. Feb 7th, 2012, 5:30-8:30pm, Air Canada Centre. Contact me for tickets if interested.

Executive Summary
This event is in honour of support for the Toronto United Way with the following two goals:

1. Create awareness about the United Way in the Telco sector
2. Raise $5,000 for Toronto United Way Toronto

Event Theme & Desired Outcome
The theme of this event will highlight “Making Connections” and will focus on professionals within our sector and raising awareness and funds for United Way Toronto.

This event is about connecting with the telecommunications community, connecting with each other, and connecting with the work of the Toronto United Way. This is an excellent opportunity for us to promote volunteerism and philanthropy to professionals within the telecomm sector. Also, it’s a great way for attendees to network with the leading telecom companies and contribute to United Way.

Other Event Logistics


Item Description
Registration On-site registration will be set up to provide attendees with information and capture attendance list. TELUS volunteers will be engaged to help with registration process
TELUS guest list To be attached once confirmed
On-site Branding Branding will include directional signage and stand up TELUS banners
AV  Lav microphones will be provided for speakers
 Podium will be available if needed
 TELUS approved music to be played at beginning and end of event
 Any additional presentation requirements TBC
Menu Crudités with Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing, Loation Rolls with Sweet Chili Sauce, Coconut Chicken, Sweet Potato Fries, Assorted Gourmet Cookies and Squares, Mini Poutine Sliders

These will be served cocktail style, by servers. Stands and limited seating are available to encourage mingling.
Bar $25 tickets includes two complimentary beverages; cash bar will be available
