A Bridge Too Far


*The Lord surveyed the Ram Setu and said "Hanuman, how diligently and strenuously you and your vanara sena built this bridge several centuries back. It is remarkable that it has withstood the ravages of the climatic and geographical changes over centuries. It is indeed an amazing feat especially considering the fact that a bridge at Hyderabad built by Gammon using latest technology collapsed the other day even before they could stick the posters on its pillars."*

*Hanuman with all humility replied "Jai Sri Ram, it is all because of your grace. We just scribbled your name on the bricks and threw them in the sea and they held. No steel from TISCO or cement from Ambuja or ACC was ever used. But Lord, why rake up the old issue now?"** *

*Ram spoke "Well, Hanuman some people down there want to demolish the bridge and construct a canal. The contract involves lot of money and lot of money will be made. They will make money on demolition and make more money on construction. "** *

I think KARUNANIDHI of Tamilnadu had read this joke and questioned Rama's engineering colleges name when they wanted to build the shipping lane through RamSetu a few years back.

The uniqueness of Hinduism is that it is so old and mature it take all forms of criticism, jokes and attacks without any perjury and in stride.

The worlds best hindu is an atheist as he keeps questioning the existence of god and he is thinking about him more than a believer who only thinks about him only during problems or trouble.

Atheist countries have lowest crime rate and most happy people, now you know where God is gone ;-)

Christians (for christ sake !) , muslims (on the name of Allah) , hindus (Bhagwaan key liye !) and other lesser mortals have screwed up the world left right center right from days of neanderthal starting to get some ideas and assumptions ! it all started from an earthquake or a flood perhaps.

Brahma created the brhmand (universe) but nobody knows this fact beyond the boundaries of erstwhile hindustan !! christian and muslim have to spread the word about their Gods for people to know about their creators. and guess what there are multiple creators !! and you can convert and replace your own creator !!

As per all religions all species are created by god , I wonder why humans know this fact and not animals, birds , there are no temple or shrine where animal visit !! may be its privilege of only humans to believe in God!

We all know who created us - our parents ! its so simple , but some morons (seen on this forum also) say their non existing lord is above their parents !

Supreme court of India has asked the Government of India to inform whether the government considers the Ram Setu as a national monument or not.

In the earlier KARUNANIDHI government they wanted to demolish this place, while Jayalalitha has asked GOI to declare it as a national monument.
