I have been going through the articles and issues in this site for quite a few days.It is really very useful and informative.

My question is can we apply for a job while we are still in the process of migration.
We have applied for Canadian immigration in Aug 2005 through the consultants in Dubai. As we are still in the waiting period, is it advisable to apply for job. And can the process of migration speed up if we have a job offer. Also for how much period do the employer wait for a person to join the job?

It looks like most employers are looking for a person who is available in Canada than a outside guy. But nothing is going to stop your job search, at least you may get some responce after some time you never know.

Once if you get a offer, offer needs to be otherised by HRD canada (you employer has to do that for you). That offer can speed up your application.

I am not a legal consultant ,but i got to know above info when i check with my consultant for my self.
