Acanac are good if you are not yet sign up for them but when they are already get you and you do have complaints it will take a week before they reply for your email since they donnot entertain any complaints by phone they always say email them. I was with acanac and also my friend we got thesame complaints. most of the customer services twisting words, could not help and annoying! I requested for moving my line it takes 1 month for re-scheduling of technician and 2 months for delay. I call them so manny time almost everyday to follow-up but they never give an exact time or day for installation. i still waited for another month and finally i received a call for the schedule. I did not gor for my work and waited them they said technician will come between 11 am to 2 pm, but i have waited for nothing. I called them and ask why and then they said they don't have any Idea! on the following day I called them again and guess what? the customner service i spoke with put in my file that I was the one who called and saying I am not available on that day that's why the technician did not come over. that pist me off. I told them that it is over and i dont want to wait anymore, I want to cancel and i want my refund. so the customer service says it is possible for refund since i have my reason. he said just email their sales department and ask for refund. i did what he said but after 2 weeks they replied saying they cannot refund the remaining months then they close the issue. it is so crazy!!!!
I know Im not the only person who experience this kind...
don't be foolled by this company stay away from them don't let this happened to you...
We had Acenac for 1 year, they had special promotional rates.. At the end of the year they were not able to offer any attractive rates so we dicided to switch to rogers.
We did not have any problem with their service. It was a smooth transition.
What i'm trying to say is, if you encounter any problem and ask them to fix it, they could not do any smoth job....
I started with Acanac last month, pre-paid for the entire year. They did mess around with my start date. I emailed them thru their web site. Within 2 days the issue was resolved and they gave me an extra week.
The speed I get is slightly more than Primus and TekSavvy. The speed all depends on the lines in your area. That's why they always say, "upto"...
I know of so many people who have been with Acanac for a while, so I won't consider them as scam.

I have been using ACANAC for the last 5 years and have not encountered a problem to date.
Your personal service difficulties can be posted on the thread as a "warning" not as a scam.

Just because you have experienced an issue , does not mean it is a scam and you do not need to negatively publicize on a public board especially with a new id ... More than Acanac , it is your integrity which is doubted by this .
I have been an year with Acanac and though I did experience issues , csr s were very prompt in handling them and did do it correctly ....... including correcting the billing errors when pointed out .
