Hi i put my son in skating this year. Skates shoes are very expensive. Can anybody suggest me good skates shoes or any good brand . I am new I dont know any thing about skates. My son shoes size is 13
Is there any place in toronto where i can find used one.

They have stores in Toronto. They will have veriety of range to fit your budget...but I suggest buy a good quality (used but branded) product as it will last long for your son.

Adnan, try Kijiji, if you are looking for used ones; you can find pretty good deals. Before buying expensive ones, let your son try the sport if he likes it. Not sure what size 13 is but if your son is growing, no point in buying expensive ones. Just my opinion.

What kind of skate shoes, road skating or Ice skating? If it is for road skating , try wallmart. I bought couple of times for my daughetr from wallmart. They are good and cheap too. If it is for Ice skting then try canadian tier, they have good deals time to time.
Play it again is good . The best part is when your son outgrows that size which he will soon , then you can go back to the store and exchange it for the next size (for a little difference in price though)
Try value village , thrift shops and salvation army especially after the finish or good time before the community center classes start. The size options will be limited but I've seen got good deals there.

I've done that for both my kids. Once you trade in the old pair (assuming its in a reasonably good shape) the differential is about $10 or so. It's like paying rent for the shoes for 6 to 12 months, all depending on how soon the child outgrows them.
