What is the best option to move? Uhaul or any other options?

Due to many uncertainties, we opted to use U-Haul when moved from Delaware. Did not come across any issues. Hired folks for loading and unloading at both the ends. Paperwork at the border was smooth sailing. I think Atlas Vanlines was one of the very reliable mover but again did not have enough time to plan out.

UHaul looks better option, one way 14 ft truck cost about 780$, Any other option from anybody most welcome.

If you are planning to tow your car to U-Haul book the car trailer well in advance and moreover make sure you get it early in the morning on the day of move. Couple of my friends had issue that they got the Uhaul but did not get the car trailer (even after booking it in advance). On the day of move you cannot even argue with the guys..nor you can wait. just the word of caution there.

I moved over a decade back so don't remember all the details, but one thing that really helped at customs was an Excel list I made and printed outlining all the items I was bringing with brand name, serial #s etc. I don't remember all the columns but got the format online (wasn't an official govt. format, it was from someone's website who had immigrated previously)

I gave that to the customs officer and he thanked me for making his life easier. He didn't open or check my U-haul or anything, basically the processing from that point on was very smooth.
