Hi,
I am currently working on an e-book for SAP consultants who intend to immigrate to Canada.
For those of you who are interested in coming to Canada: Which points and questions would you like to see addressed?
I am also looking for folks in the SAP arena who landed in Toronto and Vancouver and can give some insights of the current market situation in these two cities.
thanks in advance
Bernhard Ainetter
I believe, currently there's no category for IT professionals for Canadian Skill based immigration. So, how would this guide help the potential immigration seekers, whether SAP Functional or Technical?
I am curious.
As for SAP market in Toronto, Vancouver, or anywhere in Canada is concerned then it's not as robust as the one in States. I think, it's better in Toronto than anywhere else in Canada due to the sheer scale of businesses - distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.
Hi febret,
Concerning your statement 'There's no category for IT professionals for Canadian Skill based immigration' - this is no entirely true. On the federal level you may be right (for the moment), but do not forget that the province of Quebec has its own rules. It actually depends on your university degree and your professional experience - a BSc in Computer Science and a couple of years experience in SAP may give you enough points (along with your age, language skills etc.) to apply for the permanent residency (http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/epi.html).
Agreed on the advantage of Toronto.
Thanks
