I got medical call for my family from buffalo office, we are well settled in buffalo usa with PR status. I want to immigrate to canada , as my sisters family lives in canada , and she lost her husband and needs my help to run her buisness, also I get better opportunity to establish my self . The problem is my wife and children don't want to move along with me , are not ready to leave their green card status but want to get citizenship in usa next year.
My questions are : a) Is is necessary that the whole family must go for medicals and background checkup. b) What will happen if they don't send passports for stamping.(or should I inform CIC that they are not interested in immigrating to canada.c) Am I supposed to send the right of landing fee for everybody.d) Will they allow me alone to immigrate to canada.e)How much proof of funds I will have to show?

a) No. Not necessary (Because you want it that way)
b) No Passport no stamping. The rest is your choice.
c) Call and ask under those conditions, which is.....

If I do read you correctly, You applied for all of you to immigrate together in your application? Now you are changing your mind. And if I may ask, are you sure you have your priorities right? I do understand what you are asking. So, I thought I will ask you back, to go over them. Don't forget, you are the sponsor. This is the only chance they give you to immigrate together. After this, if they ever want to get into Canada as an immigrant, they each, will have to qualify on their own, for the next five years or so. Is it O.K. with you all?
CIC in Buffalo has given you time and you have ample time to think and respond to it.
