does anybody know what is the latest Onion price in India ???
lol...
By the way, it's Rs. 80/Kg, per the latest news:
http://www.ndtv.com/article/india/onion-prices-jump-back-to-rs-80-per-kilogram-408786
Dudes,
Rs 80 is not a big deal. BTW, all vegetables (except Spinach) is around Rs 80 a kg.
Spinach is Rs 10 (which is big enough for a family of four).
I am not sure why people make such a big fuss about it. CNN IBN ran the story for 2 or 3 days.
Anyways, the jokes are fabulous though.
Peace

Just for the skeptics of India :
I live in a capital (non metro city).
Near my office they sell packed lunch for Rs 30 (yea. Just Rs. 30 , with the onion price of Rs 80) . It has :
1. Around 1 kg of cooked rice
2. 2 Subji ( say around 25 grams each)
3. 1 very small piece of fish.
4. Some dal or some mashed yam
5. Fish stew
6. Rasam or Sambar
The food is hygenic and fit for a king.
This is the true cost of living in India.
Peace to the skeptics by Murali
