Used to eat "safed kanda" like a fruit back home. It is shaped like a bell with hair coming out from below. What is that known as? Is it a fruit or a vegetable? English name? Thanks

Only the strong arrived.

Sorry but these are not the ones I am refering to. I think they come from Gujarat and are nose shaped or bell shaped and are juicy and white. there is no peeling or cooking needed and you can eat them just like a fruit. The have hair coming out of the bottom like nose hair and they are not round. I canont find on the internet as I dont know what its called I had seen those lasttime at Subzi mandi on Gore! Thanks
OK got a picture but only says exotic fruit of india. Anyone know the name? the white one in the picture. Thanks
