I might be moving to Montreal and was wondering how would it be?
How much is the rent of a 1 room or a 1 bedroom apt in a desi locality or a decent locality.
Any idea how many gujjus are there in Montreal?

1 bedroom should be around 350-500. Yes Montreal is cheaper.
Some other quick facts:
Cheaper to live
should know french to get a job
govt pays you for learning french
medical insurance starts from day one
CCTB is higher
many french arabs over there
beautiful city, more of a european touch
traffic signs are in french
people are more friendly and open than in toronto; girls will give you a smile; smile;
annual earnings much less than toronto / vancouver
&
pedestrians dont wait for traffic sign to go green b4 crossing the road!
