Hi CD's,

We are planning to visit Montreal and Quebec in August 2009.
Please could someone suggest cheap hotels or bed and breakfast room in both locations

This is the start of the main tourist season, so "cheap" will be a relative term.
In QC City, try and stay as close to the old walled city as possible because that's where most of the attractions and activities are.
Ideally, you should be within walking distance of the old city.

In Montreal, you have a slightly wider choice esp. if you have a car.
Hotels around the airport will probably be the cheapest but getting around will be time consuming because of traffic.
