Hello CD's
I am looking to buy gold bangles for my wife.Is there any good Indian jewelry shops in and around GTA. This would be my first time to buy any gold item and I am not sure what to consider before I go to any jeweler.what are the extra charges do they charge apart from gold price.Also I would like to know what would be the budget for a decent bangles.I know it varies and mostly depends on me but I want have some ball park figure in my mind before I visit any shop.

Indian jewelry shops are located at Gerrard street and then scattered around toronto (Islington ave).
Indian Jewelry shops charge a fixed amount (Gold + making+wastage+ profit). You will not know the break up. They will negotiate.
Or
You can try some Iranian shops on Younge (near finch). They sell 18K gold and you can negotiate the total price. I have bought in Iranian shops in the past and they have broken the very next day.
