so what is the best way to protect ourselves and our investing?
should we buy gold and store at a bank box?
or should we buy gold company stocks?
what is the best way to play this?
Although I am not in to stocks in North American market, I do listen ti Jim as and when I can,
he too is not very pessimisstic on US , infact he is only advising to be really selective of what you buy, when you buy, and sell . And the strategy to follow in selecting stocks.

hi ashedfc, can you please share your opinion on my question above i.e.

Can you please explain what you mean by unallocated accounts for bullion?
do you mean like how some ETFs are based on gold bullion?
like GLD on the NYSE and CGL on the TSE?
is there any problem with those?
what do you recommend?
is it ok to have some physical gold and some in gold bullion ETF like GLD or should we switch everything to physical gold?
All signs point to a next crash happening soon..
If u watch the SP500 it keeps going up and coming back down and has been trading in a 100 pt range since the beginning of the year..
To me it seems like there is a lot of selling pressure , booking profit the moment the stock market goes up.. It also points to lack of confidence among investors..
US debt, euro defaults are not helping , US job market is not improving..
Couple this with higher commodity and oil prices...
All this is pointing to the next recession..
