I though that we elected these politicians to take care of our interests. But they have their own agenda and that is to BALANCE the BOOKS and generate a surplus and get re-elected for another term. May be they will also give us a tax cut too!! I am waiting!!`
YEA, wait and watch the fight when they open the floodgate.
These guys skimp through the skin of their teeth and some how show that they have balanced their books and come back to haunt us.
Now for the gas prices, the ARABS have got us by the noonoos and now when the HYBRIDS and the ELECTRICS entered the markets, they saw that their jig was up. Also the Fracking entered into the production, thereby making US a self sufficient Country. So, they also saw the Russians make a long term deal with the Chinese Government, thereby cutting their sales even more. NOW, the only way to get a better income is to cut the price, which will eliminate the Canadian TAR sands(PSST they now call it the OIL sands) and shut down the fracking and also kill the Russian production and eliminate all of the competition in the market first, then get back into the saddle once again.
They say that they will bring it down to $45 US a Barrel slowly and take over the oil market completely. But it will take an year or better to accomplish all of this and do it gently.
I am waiting to see the day... and a 49cent a liter gas, once again, just for ONE DAY at least!!

Keep on waiting. Wishing you luck. Please add to the list, Trade Union Leaders, Strata Managers and Presidents as well. Once, they all were the people's representatives, but slowly mingled with the Powers that be and the wrong crowd to intimidate an 'aam aadmi'. We are left to fend ourselves. Crony Capitalism to the fore. Answers are not that easy on the other side of the fence either.
In the end, what left for us is simply 'babaji ka thullu'.
