I was looking at the option of pursuing certification as a real estate agent in Ontario. I am not too sure yet as the cost to become an agent is nearly 3K, a lot of studying (I guess?) plus the uncertainty of being successful even after the certification. I have gone through OREA website on the certification structure, timeline and fees etc.. Before I pay fees and register for courses I was hoping to consult someone in the industry to discuss some questions I have. I would also like to review the books so is there anyone I can borrow their old books from? I know they will provide books when I pay the fees, but I wanted to review them before I register for the courses. Let me know if any CD member who is RE agent here and is willing to have a conversation, I can meet personally.
