Which are the books/ novels (fiction, fantasy, action, whatever, anything goes) you have read recently?

Any one that you would recommend. I am getting back into the reading mode. Been doing far too much of technical and online reading - so much so that it has been ages since I last held a hard cover book in my hands ;).

How about the Davinci code by Dan Brown? Read it a few months back, and enjoyed it thoroughly - finished the book in one shot at night. A really fast paced thriller unravelling some very interesting and rather controversial facts/myths about Christianity and Christ. I won't say more if you haven't read it yet, and want to..

Was the NY Times #1 best seller for a record time. BTW, this is also coming as a movie probably next year, starring Tom Hanks pairing with a French actress.

Yes 'DaVinci code' is a good book. I have read other books by Dan Brown including 'Angels and Demons', 'Digital Fortress' etc and have noticed that there is a basic format/formula he follows which makes his work fairly predictable. However, his books are exciting, fast paced thrillers with enough twists & turns to keep one on the edge. However, my all time favourite is the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. If you enjoy fantasy/science fiction epics then this is not to be missed. It spans 7 books and has all the ingredients to keep you engrossed until you finish the last book. The reviews can be found on Amazon.com.
