I am not sure if I am the only one facing this problem but most of the employers in my workplace use drugs.

Let me explain as follows :

1. In India, one of my college professors and my relative was a cocaine and herion addict. Since he was in Govt. of India institution, he was / is able to get away. Recently (after 25 years of knowing that he is a drug addict - they say that his drug habit had weaned off), I complained to the principal of the college and he in turn passed it on to the police. The police called me and I told them all the facts. Yet after 6 months, no action was taken on him. I learnt that the police will only be interested if they have a chance to catch him with the drugs.

2. In Saudi, my employer was a cocain addict. he used to take cocaine in his room. He was an arab- US citizen. Though his head would have been cut, if he was caught, he was not. As people in Gulf know, the rules are only for the workers and not for Arab employers.

3. Again in India, My CEO was a drug addict. He was kicked out after a year. I hacked into his computer to find out his drug / prostitution / black money things. After find out all these facts I challenged him. He also wanted to fire me but before that he was fired by the Management.

So it looks like Drugs are not that uncommon.

So how is it like at your work place. If you do find out these addictions, are you bold enough to contact the police?

Je Suis non drugs !

WOW !!!! you really are something...

Answer to your real question is NO I would not have any problems with anybody taking drugs at my workplace unless its affecting me & my work... (& also if I am the owner of the workplace)

I really don't have any habit of interfering with other people life unless it affects mine....but to each his own

As far as it doesn't affect their productivity and other staff, it is none of our business. Mind ur own business and don't waste ur and police time unnecessarily. If he is intoxicated in the office and does wrong stuff like kissing u TK or sexually abusing other girls etc, turn blind eyes to his private life. just a thought. :) A good employee will concentrate on his work and give full productivity and not poke his nose in others business or keep away frm wasting his time on social networking or writing on the forum etc
