Hi, my husband (engineer) and I are moving in May. We would like to buy a house where we will live and rent. We are not really worried about finding proper jobs as we know the situation in Canada. My husband will go for higher studies. Can anyone help us with the following questions:
1. Is living condition better in Kamloops, Kelona or Gibsons? (we are not looking for areas where there are lots of desi people. We know few people in Vancouver who we can visit and also do shopping on weekends. We like driving long distance)
2. We would like to use the rent from the house to pay for mortgage. Therefore is it going to be easy to rent in Kamploops, Kelona or Gibsons?
Anyone suggestion/comments/advice is much appreciated.
Kamloops and kelowna are at least 4 hours away from Vancouver. During the summer its not a bad trip to drive but during the winter you may be restricted.
Secondly - There are university colleges in both cities but I dont think graduate studies are available there. You may wish to google this.
Kelowna is supposed to be very expensive..beautiful..and traffic congested.
Can you come out and visit before choosing?

I recommend a place where your your husband and children are safe. In some places there are too much drug addicts and it is not safe going outside late in night. Addicts driving car is also a problem
Drug addiction is Problem One
In the late 1980s HIV/AIDS disease started to appear in intravenous drug users in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
