Why NOT stay here in Canada & practice what you preach ?..Canada is such a great & wonderful country, that its beauty needs to be appreciated from the US 
So basically be positive about Canada, but live in US ? ..Is that the message ?
TK is blamed for posting from India & often criticized for doing the same..and is accused of not having a life & being mentally here & physically somewhere else.
Aren't the US poster's doing the same ? Why the Double Standard's & hypocrisy ? Is it because TK is frank & honest about Canada, and other's are not ?

Thanks Adam for the note.
Let us work together to make CD more inclusive.
Let us contribute to new CD immigrants to settle down properly in Canada and if we feel that they may not expect what they expect in Canada, we will tell them in no uncertain terms.
In the end, our goal is that everyone should be content and happy.

Fido, any further development on US migration.
While better career opportunities for kids, better paid jobs, better weather, affordable real estate (exclude Silicon Valley) continuing to be the motivating factors, going in Visa has been deterrent as fallback appears to be bit more questionable at this mid-career stage.
Any possible mitigation thats sensible.
