I got a letter to go ahead with my medicals and they also requested a set of documents. We have already done our medicals and they gave us 90 days to submit our documents. We are still waiting to receive my husband's fingerprint report from US. It hasn't arrived as yet and we are nearing the submittal date. Can we submit the remaining docs and the landing fee along with an appl saying that we have already sent the fingerprints and it has been more than 7 weeks now.
Please advise.
Thanks !!

waiting
short answer... yes..
include what you have with a letter explaining that the rest is on its way and will be sent as soon as you get it...
I would say wait and submit everything together and in the mean time send a letter to the consulate stating the fact that there is delay from FBi
sending titbits could even result in loss at consulate and you might want to take that into consideration b4 making the right move
bottomline i asked the same Q to Massood and he suggested the same
I am in the same boat and besides Fingerprinting i need to submit my PCC as well which comes from India and i know its going to go well beyong 90 day period,

sorry but that makes no sense...
first off why would you hold off on sending documents that are outstanding if you are waiting for something else to come through... any processing related to what they asked for will be held off till the time chc gets what was requested... if you send what you have and send the remainder later, your file remains active and processing continues on it...
and secondly, if they lose the few things you send them there is equal chance for them to lose the same things when you send them together...
Difference of Opinion ..I completely disagree with you
I have heard cases where it infact happened for loss of documents

I think you need to submit all the documents together. Its even mentioned in the waiver letter i got from the consulate.
You can send a letter or fax to the embassy explaining the delay is b'coz of the FBI fingerprints.
