you need to inform the visa office about your new baby. you have one yr from the date of your medicals to land in the country.
when we moved from the states we never even handed our i94s , nobody asked us. and if your visa says multiple entry then you can come right back.

but remember once you loose this oppertunity you loose and and have to start all over again. come to nova scotia enter through vermont then you dont have the 3 month waid for medical . you get your card the very first day.
dont you go to India? if you did how did you come back well its the sme way. if ou can leave and comne back then you are done. but if you have lost status then once you leave the US u cannot go back for another 3 yrs atleast. i dont know what a J1 visa is?
