I was asked to submit couple of documents within 90 days and to go ahead with my medicals. Myself and my spouse did our medicals on May 21, 2004. We submitted all requested documents(except one) and landing fee on July 23rd, 2004 as we were reaching the 90 days deadline. We then received the document we had been waiting for the very next day and submitted it which they received on July 27th.
1. Will submission of one document later cause any delay in processing?
2. What is the timeframe we are looking for, since now we have submitted the landing fee as well.
Thank You.

,
Even I am facing the same situation. I think Masoodji can let us know what to do at this stage.
Will it be okay to appeal to the concerned Canadian Consulate demanding fast processing as the time elapsed from our medicals is now about 6 months and more delay would leave very less valid visa time?
Same case,
Did my medical in Feb, 2004 and re submitted FBI figerprint results in May, 2004 but have not heard from Consulate yet.

In my case, medical done (15th Jan, 2002) and payment of landing fee(20th Jan, 2002), we got request letter for submission of passport for visa stamping on first week of November 2002.
We submitted our passport for visa through Blue Dart in 2nd week of November and got back our passport in 2nd week of December 2002 and my Visa was valid untill 15th Jan, 2003. We left for Canada 24th December, 2002.
In short, you have to wait at least 10 months after mediacal for visa stamping. I heard that now after submission of passport, they takes 1 to 3 months for stamping (What a nonsense thing !) and give you harly 1 or 2 months for winding up.
Wish you best of luck.
