Last friday I watched this movie.
It was hilarious!
What should be in a movie called “Flavors”? It has flavors – flavors of guys on bench, flavors of marriage between an Indian and a white girl, flavors of cultural shock an Indian parent goes thru and a flavors of two friends who can’t live without each other, and special flavor of Vivek.
In many sense it is much better than American Desi.
The story seems complex, as it runs four (or more?) stories in parallel. You could not see any connection with them, but as the story progresses you will realize that. Though there is disconnect, you will enjoy every bit of all the stories.
Almost all desis in this part of world can relate one or more incidents from the movie with themselves or with their friends. It is made from around the real instances. “The long distance promotion” phone calls! The lay-off! The recruiter’s phone call!

The picture is of "Three guys on bench".
In Canada we can replace it with "They guys on EI!"
