Like that famous joke- the doctor will be tolding me what you livin' for, na smokin' na boozin' na sex phir rahne ka kya phaida?

Please to be taking in light spirit boss.

apla bolna hai ke khao piyo aish karo- kal kisne dekhela bhai!

chal anyway you are talkin' food products apun spoking drink products.

Bhaari tight ho gaye ho sir ji? Manhattan shooters and doobies?

not really- just reliving a previous avatar as transmogrifier.

Acted in a play once called "Transmogrification" where high flown English was mixed with khochar Bombay gully talk. It was a play that did the college circuits in Bombay and everyone who attended guffawed till kingdom come.
Sharon Prabhakar and her boyfriend at that time took it mainstream and we did Shanmukhanda Hall and a couple of other halls and made 'all Bombay' laugh.

Besides Manhattan shooters and doobies are tame stuff- acid (aah, mr natural, pink jesus, yellow sunshine, orange sunshine, purple haze, blotter, electric kool-aid acid test), speedballs, ecstasy, smack...now you're talkin'...:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

The above chemicals should be on the labels of food products- then only will I have them...

chal jes' kiddin'....

I got the response from Uniliver this morning. Here it is. It does not mention where the ice cream was made or any expiry date. I do not know if ice cremes have expirary dates.

"Thank you for contacting us!

In order to stay competitive in today’s market we responded to consumer’s requests to improve our product nutritionally. In response to those requests, we re-formulated our Breyers Classic products to reduce the level of trans fats, saturated fats, and cholesterol compared to other ice creams. Due to the reformulation we did not meet the Canadian standards for ice cream requirements, therefore we have named our healthier product frozen dessert.

For original formulations, please consider trying one of our Breyers Double Churned Ice cream products. These were not affected by the re-formulation and do fit the Canadian Standards for Ice Cream and do not contain palm oil.

As dairy prices continue to rise, we looked for new, great tasting, ingredients. We did not want to transfer high ingredient costs to the consumers (by higher retail prices).

Milk Ingredients are components of milk that have been extracted by physical separation processes or technologies. These ingredients have various functional (emulsifying, foaming, texture, etc.) nutritional or bioactive (beneficial health effects) properties. It's unfortunate that some of these ingredients, which in Europe are called "natural milk constituents", are termed "modified milk ingredients" in Canada, which gives a them a negative connotation.

We will share your comments with the Brand manager and Marketing departments."

Typical corporate BS.
It's almost guaranteed in North America that "modified milk ingredients" are imported from China.
The reason Europe doesn't do that is to protect its own dairy industry and not because they are any more consumer conscious than us.

The "bioactive" health benefits that they are talking about are destroyed during pasteurisation.
During the last decade or so, more and more food processing industries are irradiating processed foods to completely eliminate any micro-biological activity in the food.
So the question of "bioactive" ingredients is pulling the wool over the eyes of the consumers.
