I got the response from Uniliver this morning. Here it is. It does not mention where the ice cream was made or any expiry date. I do not know if ice cremes have expirary dates.

"Thank you for contacting us!
In order to stay competitive in today’s market we responded to consumer’s requests to improve our product nutritionally. In response to those requests, we re-formulated our Breyers Classic products to reduce the level of trans fats, saturated fats, and cholesterol compared to other ice creams. Due to the reformulation we did not meet the Canadian standards for ice cream requirements, therefore we have named our healthier product frozen dessert.
For original formulations, please consider trying one of our Breyers Double Churned Ice cream products. These were not affected by the re-formulation and do fit the Canadian Standards for Ice Cream and do not contain palm oil.
As dairy prices continue to rise, we looked for new, great tasting, ingredients. We did not want to transfer high ingredient costs to the consumers (by higher retail prices).
Milk Ingredients are components of milk that have been extracted by physical separation processes or technologies. These ingredients have various functional (emulsifying, foaming, texture, etc.) nutritional or bioactive (beneficial health effects) properties. It's unfortunate that some of these ingredients, which in Europe are called "natural milk constituents", are termed "modified milk ingredients" in Canada, which gives a them a negative connotation.
We will share your comments with the Brand manager and Marketing departments."
