Can anyone give me any input on getting stuff by cargo from India. I've tried looking for similar threads on this forum but in vain.
I'll be arriving in sep with family and I would like to dispatch some of my stuff thru cargo (unaccompanied). Did any one send cargo from india. I dont want to opt for a container as my cargo approximately be 150-200 kg only. I dont know whether they do this type of cargo from mumbai.

I see no reason why you should not be able to get a LCL ( less than container load) from Mumbai. I got a LCL from Dubai. Your best would be to check with forwarders (not shipping companies) if they have offices in Mumbai who forward LCL since ur current in Bah

I got a quote of rs 210/kg for cargo > 100kg (airport pickup not door-to-door) from Goa to Toronto. The door-to-door is 300/kg.

Does anybody know what are the access baggage charges from mumbai to toronto? (air france-air canada). The allowed weight is 63kg...so i've heard !

Any input from recently arrived newcomers would be of help.
