Have any new desis who have recently moved brought any desi foodstuff (Rice / pulses and spices) as part of the Cargo so as to help get started initially - or do the Canadian Customs object to import of food stuff?
Is it possible to ship a few bottles of liquor in your cargo? Do the freight forwarders allow this?
Also are aerosol cans (body sprays) allowed to be carried in the cargo? or do the forwarders object as these are pressurised ?
Thanks
AJ

-- You get everything here and the customs may object. No need to get anything from India

-- You get better and cheaper here than India
Besides I think there is a limit of 1 bottle . Personally , I don't see any need to get it

-- You can get them here but surely you can buy a couple for your travel and for a few days

We will find a way or we will make one
You can get packed food. There is no problem. The customs officials don;t look at it. However if there is any open food, like fruits, vegetables , home cooked meat etc then they get a bit paranoid. so i would avoid that.
Aerosols are OK
