*husband moving soon from india so please advice me how to get info on cargo and it's cost. Who should we contact??? >

1. Is your husband planning to land from India and wants to bring some goods with him and rest will follow? He will make two lists. One "goods accompanying" and other "goods to follow"
2. Do you want to know some packers and movers or someone who can ship entire container load of your house-hold effects from India to Canada.

1. "Goods to follow" list does not distinguish between the locations from where goods are shipped.
2. When making list of "Goods to Follow" it is preferable to make list in such a way that all stuff from India is first on the list and then followed by list of stuff which will come from US. It can be on same page or on page no.2 or 3 as case maybe. It is better to list the goods in sequence as they would arive in Canada.

This way customs officer can check first half of the list and then second half of the list without getting confused.
