My parents are currently visiting Canada. They have a 6 month visa and a ticket valid for return within 6 months. I was wondering if they could extend their stay for another 3 months- how do you get a visa extension and do the Canadian Immigration authorities grant such extension? also, would the airline extend validity of the ticket for return? What would be the extra charges?

as for the ticket you should contact the airline or a travel agent...
