I have one property in Mumbai.
I will evaluate the cost of the property certified by the CA.

Is it right?

Why you need that? To show your fund? In that case it will not work. You must bring the money with you, as per my understanding.

yep.. cash or cash equavalent (dd, tc etc) for landing...

I want so that in future I will take this much of amt. from India to canada with out tax.

Hi Atharv,

In that case do not forget to get the valuation done for the Jewelery you would likely to carry with you or bring afterwards...as they can also charge an import duty on those as well...
