I know this is a bit far from where you want. But check out 2350 and 2360 Dundas Street West. It is exactly opposite Dundas West subway station. There is a public school next door. Also PriceChopper, Zellers and Loblaws are within 3-5 minute walking distance. There is also a Plaza below the building and it has a walkin doctors clinic, pharmacy and bank.

The ones at Kipling- Dixon Intersection provided very good access to Food Basic, Canada Trust etc. Had the good fortune to land with a kind hearted land lord.

Hi,

For working near the Airport , what should be good recommended apartment buildings located close by ?

I may be asking some vague qs so please bear with me and guide me rightly as I have little experience of the GTA . My situation is as follows :

My workplace would be near the Airport as mentioned . Wife doesn't have a job as of now but plans to - could be either in Mississauga / Toronto . No kids .

Which amongst - Mississauga or Etobicoke be a better choice ? I prefer to stay in peaceful slightly rural surroundings (away from higways and business centers) - need good connectivity obviously and above everything else a good apartment building with sizable apartments - and facilities preferably low rise . Looking for a 1 bedroom apartment .

Can CDs shortlist some areas / buildings in addition to the ones mentioned above which can serve my expectations ? Ideally I would wish a place which is a short bus ride away from the subway station and still close to the Airport ---- Kipling and Bloor appears a feasible trade off but as mentioned my knowledge of the area/s is limited .

Lastly proximity to Indian community is more than welcome although not a reserved criterion . Are there any advantages of living Mississauga over Etobicoke in my circumstances ? Thanks .
