You are a student .... that means no income. When you are sponsoring another person ( your spouse) .... Visa officer always looks into this financial aspect.
The chances of getting visa for your spouse will be high only if you are working in Canada on a work permit or both of you show fat bank balances.
hi everyone...If you are a phd or a masters student and have a sufficient bank balance its not very difficult to bring your spouse to canada on a visitor visa..there will be some documents required from your side and some from her side and the chances are you wil get visa for sure.
from your side
a letter of invitation stating d purpose of your spouse's visit and d exact duration of stay.
a letter from ur university that yo are a registered student at that institute
plus your bank details, work/study permit, passport details etc
from your spouse's side:
their qualifications.
current job if any and if returning back to the job(den its d best)
their bank details, propety, jewellery etc etc...even if she is showing any close realtives property then the relative can write a sponsor letter for her telling that he/she is going to sponsor you spouse for a visit to canada
plus a complete application form
and am sure you wil get d visa in a few days...bcoz canadian govt encourages students bringing their spouses..
Hope it helps.All d best!!!
