I have a specific problem with the H1B. Before I could come to canada as a Permanent Resident from India, Company A filed for H1 and promised me a job in Canada before moving to US for work. When I came here Company A did not keep their promise and I was left in the cold to get a job. Now I have got a job with Company B and Company A write to me and says that the H1 has been approved to get the H1 stamped in India.

As moving to the US would affect my Citizenship for Canada I dont want to go there now. How do I take care of such a situation.

Any advice is welcomed. Thanks

i already have a job in canada with a different company. the company which sponsored the h1 did not communicate anything till now. so i cannot leave my job at the moment to join the first company.

i dont want the h1 as i am not interested in the US. would there be any repercussions if i did not accept the h1

thanks.

H1B approval doesn't mean that you are supposed to join that company
As a matter of fact multiple employer can apply for H1B for you and you have option to choose any one of them(Althogh it is not advisable to file multiple H1B for different employer at the same time)
If you decide not join company A and decide to join company C (another US company) in future then company C will either file for new H1B or H1B transfer (for your case because you are not working for a single day in H1B status I believe H1B transfer won't be possible but it will be another new H1B )
Anyway if you're not interested forget about H1B status and there won't be any complication

Thanks
