I want a small clarification.

Recently, my Friend from Hyderabad got his Landing papers within a span of 10 days, after submission of his passport.

But, when he recieved his landing papers, he checked his online status and online status was showing still In Progress and he consulted his consultancy people regarding this and they told that for every fortnight they will update the site.

And one more friend of mine from chennai, got his landing papers in 2 months after submission of his passport.

Yesterday, he checked his status and it was showing In progress and today in the afternoon, he got phone call from consultancy and they informed that he got his landing papers and immediately , he checked his online status, there it dispalyed status as Decision Made.

I am totally confused with this update procedure of CHC.

If anyone has clear idea about this update procedure, can you please tell me.

when they will change the status online, after releasing the landing papers or before releasing the landing papers

I am waiting for my landing papers since August, Because, i have submiited my passport for stamping in the month of August

according my experience, the CIC website is not update regularly,
My online status was still in progress even after 2 months of my landing (I still dont remember why I wanted to check my status after my landing ).
So dont worry about such stuff and your friends are okay to land once they have their landing papers.

My status online on CIC was changed after I got the passports in Delhi. Same was the case with my friend.

I do not think online status on CIC is up to date as far as Delhi office is concerned.
