Got RPRF Reciept - July 2004
Submitted Passport - August 2004
Submitted Malaysian PCC - Sep 2004
Reminders for LP's - Sep 30, 2004, Nov 04, Dec 3, 2004
Three reminders were sent by my consultancy ppl to CHC for early release of my papers
This is my time line.
Why CHC is not considering these reminders, whether they take any action to such reminders.
After waiting for a such a long time, will there are any chances of negative decision by CHC.
I am very much worried abt my landing papers.
And also Yesterday, i contacted my consultancy people and they told me that, any day my landing papers will be issuded by CHC, New Delhi and 100% , by this month end, i will be getting.
I have no other chance rather than listening to them.
Lets hope the best.
Today, my friend who is settled in canada , called me and told that CHC, New Delhi will be closing from Dec 15th to Jan 15th for X'Mas Holidays and there will be no processing goes till one month.
By listeninng this , my foot stumped for once, as i have to wait for another 2 months to get my landing papers, if they are not issued before Dec 15th.
Sir, Please clarify me, whether CHC, New Delhi is going to stop the services for X'Mas Holidays and when can i get my landing papers.
Please advice me , what should i do and how long my case may take to complete.

Hi Goud,
I can fully empthaise with u , as your time line is almost identical as mine, however I am in Canada. As u have already submitted your passports u r now tied up and there is nothing u can do except for praying, however believe me dear friend u r not missing anything by coming here 2 months later, as it is now winter has set in and even if u land in Jan, u r probably landing at the most tough seasonal time of canada, so in a way it is good that your papers are delayed , take the positive aspect of issue, I can even understand that u may not like my advise, but I can fully realise what u r undergoing now, I have passed throu the same situation only few months back.
Prepare yourself for accepting even more surprises when u land here, u may also feel I had not thought of this earlier, had I known it before I would'nt have had come here.
Thought s like this are very common, and even I am undergoing the same .
All the best to you for your early landing in Canada, U may contact me in case of any further info, I may part with honestly what all I have.

Guys, my time line is similar to yours. I landed about 1.5 year back. One of my friend adviced me to submit the passports along with RPRF and surprisingly they did return my passports with visa stamps. My advice to those who want to be here early is to forward passport along with the fee and not wait for CIC letter to call for passport. Asking of fees is proof enough that decision is in your favour. Probably you will land in Canada a couple of months early.

My advice to you, Goud:
Stay calm, nothing to worry about, you will be in Canada soon.
In the meantime prepare yourself for few nasty surprises when in Canada.
As it is you are not missing much, go through CD and you will realise that.
