My Brother in law (sister husbend), my friend & my self have applied for immigration under skilled cat.
1.My bro in law has applied for immi from CHC Singapore (he is resident of India & no job or resident of Singapore)through some person so that his process of immi gets fast when compared to CHC, New Delhi in March 2001. He was aviced to resubmit IMM 008 & IELTS under new law. He did not comply it. He received a Notice of proposed settlement (Rasolzadeh case)of class action suit in canada, in Nov 2004 from CIC.
2. My friend also applied in March from Singapore (he is resident of India & no job or resident of Singapore) through the above said person, as per advice of CHC Singapore he submitted IMM8 & did not submit IELTS and has given explanation that his education from school to university was English medium. My friends application was prviously reject in New Delhi and this information was also brought to the notice in his application from Singapore.He received a Notice of proposed settlement (Rasolzadeh case)of class action suit in canada, in Nov 2004 from CIC.
3. I took the help of my above said friend and applied from New Delhi in Sept 2001.
Adviced to resubmit IMM8 & IELTS under new law was complied with. I received medical paper & was asked to pay Right of Permanent Residence fees & other formalities.
Pl Clarify/Advice
1. What should they do to this notice.My Bro in law & friend has not initiated nor are party to above case.
2. In case of above said persons immigation are rejected can I help them by any means.( if I get PR status)
3. In what catagory I can sponser my mother ( 63 yrs).

1. I cannot advise them on the Proposed Settlement. I don't have enough information and besides, since it is a Federal Court approved settlement, they will have to contact a lawyer.
2. Your brother in law will benefit an extra 5 points in a new application [if you are landed]
