I have done B.Sc Physics and MBA in Marketing, have 6 years experience in Gulf, marketing Oil & Gas equipment to the oil companies, planning to land in Calgary in anoher 6 months. What will my scope for this background.

My suggestion would be to talk to your clients, those oil companies, who may have offices in Alberta. IMO, this is the right province for someone like you.

Thanks for your reply. I have been dealing with few companies of Alberta for oil & gas equiptment to sell their eqpt. in UAE not regular contacts, what make be worry is Canadian Experience. I can't just relay on few companies whom i know, if they don't hire me, i have to look for the whole market. can any one advise me who has same background and got a job in Calgary with gulf experience.

To be frank , getting a job is not easy in oil field. I am a hardcore Drilling man & many of my friend are struggling to get any job in Calgary in oil field. But still you can try as they will not give any weightage for gulf/indian experience at all.
take it easy & keep your other option open.
