Hi,
I will be arriving in Canada (still not made up my mind between Toronto and Calgary!) by the end of Feb, or the 1st week of March from New Jersey.
I'm in IT. A couple of recruiters I am in touch with have asked me if I was "incorporated". It seems that there are quite a few IT consulting positions out there, probably a lot more than permanent positions.
Is being "incorporated" the way to go? How does one get incorporated? Any thoughts?

Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.
Btw, When you get incorporated, there is the hassle of filing for corporate taxes which means you'll have to save receipts and stuff.
However, you do end up paying less taxes. You should get a good accountant to do your taxes once you're incorporated.

Are you there?
In case you do decide to incorporate you might want to check out the publication: How to Get Back Thousands of Tax Dollars every Year with One Legal Move.
The *One Legal Move* they are talking about is incorporating as a business.
