Hi,

Is there a govt. organization which helps to promote new business ideas? I have couple of things on my mind which are kind of new to me. I would like to setup business based on that.

Is there a (govt.)/ organization which helps you plan and setup the business! I have heard there is but dont recall which one and where. I was told about this during my COSTI session when I landed in canada but i did not pay a whole lot of attention that time.

Organization should help get a patent, should help get loans (which i guess would not need), should help in planning and assist and direct in getting the necessary equipment for the business. Help plan strategies to promote the business

any ideas!

There are lot of Federal and Provincial Programs that help you with financialand other assistance to start businesses etc. Also quite a lot of consultancies help out. Most not for profit agencies simply give you a standardised checklist and list basic preparatory steps in business planning etc.

Hi Satish,

I also am intrested in starting a Cellular accesories and services business in GTA. Do you know of any place from where I can obtain the accesories on a wholesale basis. Is there a city in Canada that hosts a Wholesale Market akin to the one in Dallas TX?

Is there a certain street or area in Vancouver that has wholesale dealers of different products. What I am looking for is like a shopping district that caters to small retail businesses on a wholesale basis.

search about.com for canada small business .. u will find all links to canada govt. help... it is very clearly worded... an easy.
I read all and whenver I wstart.. i know How to start and register.. etc. do not go to these HELPING agents for registration etc.. they are as GOOD AS any agent only.. scale may \be different... there may be some good persons but how do we know them .. so my advise is that is an open country.. info is available .. go for it confidently.....
OF COURSE BASIC problem of money and market riska are alwya there.
